Continued Education Credits vary per professional licensure and Saturday Breakout sessions.
Each day is eligible for up to 5 CEs, totaling up to 10 CEs for the conference.
Each attendee is responsible for signing in and out each day and at each break-out session, as well as calculating the CEs earned based on their licensure requirements.
After the conference, fill out this form indicating the amount of CEs you earned, we will varify your attendance on the sign in sheets and send you your CE certificate!

Dr. Steven Christiansen
With a doctorate in Biochemistry and extensive experience in biotech and regulatory affairs, Dr. Steven Christiansen brings valuable scientific and strategic insight to Utah's evolving psychedelic landscape.
For the past year, he has worked with Utah Patients Coalition consulting on psychedelic-promoting content development and ideating potential policies around in-state manufacturing practices.
​
As the Medical Strategy Director for Utah Patients Coalition, Dr. Christiansen is actively involved in advancing evidence-based approaches to psychedelic medicine in Utah. Following the groundwork laid by Desiree Hennessy with SB266, he will provide updates on Utah's psychedelic pilot program at IHC and U of U hospitals and facilitate discussions on the future of psychedelic healing in the state.
Join him to learn about current developments and what's next for psychedelic therapy in Utah.
Jason Adelstone, Esq
Jason Adelstone is a seasoned business lawyer and international policy advisor. Based in Denver, Colorado, he provides domestic and international legal counsel to a diverse clientele, including entrepreneurs, corporations, religious organizations, and state legal and DEA psychedelic and cannabis operators.
A recognized authority in the U.S. on international drug treaties, Jason has collaborated with legal and policy experts worldwide to address evolving cannabis and psychedelic laws. His expertise includes corporate governance, church and business formation, and state and federal conflicts of law. Jason’s professional journey is as unique as it is diverse. Before becoming a lawyer, he served as a logistics supervisor for the U.S. Antarctic Program at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, and spent 18 years in the restaurant industry, managing both front- and back-of-house operations.

Jason will be presenting at the conference on Friday and facilitating an in-depth discussion on Saturday, so come prepared with your questions about opening/running a legal, DEA-compliant clinical or spiritual psychedelic facility!


Mindy Madeo BSPHarm, MCST
Mindy Madeo has been a pharmacist for over 23 years. She has worked exclusively in psychedelic and cannabis medicine in Utah for the last 4 years. Mindy has a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Utah, a master's degree in Cannabis Science and Therapeutics from the University of Maryland Pharmacy School, and a Medicinal Plant Certification from Cornell University.
She has completed a Psychedelic Therapy program from Salt City Psychedelic Therapy and Research, MAPS training on Psychedelics for Addiction, and MAPS training on Psychedelics for Palliative Care.
Mindy works as a Cannabis Pharmacist at Beehive Farmacy in Brigham City and has a psychedelic consulting business (Rebel-Pharmacist.com) where she specializes in education on psychedelic journey dosing, microdosing, drug interactions, and harm
reduction.

She writes psychedelic content for Cannigma.com, City Weekly, and Salt Baked City and will be sharing insights on Friday and facilitating an in-depth discussion on Saturday at the March 7&8 Utah Psychedelic Conference.
Joel Hanson MD BC - Addiction Medicine
Joel Hanson, MD is medical director for Altium Health Treatment Center. He also consults with therapists for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. “It’s exciting to have psychedelics as an important additional tool in helping people to achieve their potential.”
​
He completed a BA degree in Spanish from the University of Utah, followed by medical school in Rochester New York, then specialty training at the University of Utah in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry.
He is Board-certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.
He has worked in most aspects of psychiatry, outpatient and inpatient. He has owned and run a residential substance use disorder program and an inpatient detox hospital.
​
Dr Hanson has five children, 10 grandchildren and enjoys singing, theatre and skiing.
​
Dr. Hanson will be speaking on Friday and facilitating a discussion group on Saturday at the March 7 & 8 psychedelic Conference.


Autumn Kunz
Autumn is a remarkable mother of two, wife of 8 years, and business owner (Rabbit Hole Wellness) that is practicing, facilitating and teaching fusion & mixed-modality healing arts and medicine nationally and internationally.
​
She is a Yoga Therapist accredited by IAYT (international association of yoga therapy) and has a professional background in social work and grassroots community activism. Having A non-religious and psychedelic-friendly upbringing she possesses a unique set of perspectives, skills and talents and still hasn’t found a title or name for the work she does. Just don’t call her a shaman.

With a wide range of healers, mediums, modalities, and tools on her belt, Autumn is dedicated to helping people find deep truth and meaning in their lives. In her work she aims to be inclusive to western and eastern approaches in healing and empower those she works with to have informed consent &the power to choose from inner resonance.

Autumn offers retreats, vision quests, and medicine journeys in Western regions of The US, Hawaii & Mexico.

Autumn will be facilitating the exploration of embodied informed consent on Friday March 7 and facilitating an experience on Saturday March 8 at the Annual Utah Psychedelic Conference.
Jeff Lundgren CMHC CST PATP
Jeff Lundgren is a licensed therapist, certified AASECT Sex Therapist, accredited provider of Psychedelic-assisted Therapy, and author of "Unfolding Eros: A Journey into Psychedelic-Assisted Sex Therapy" a groundbreaking guide to understanding the connection of psychedelics and sexuality within therapeutic settings.
His expertise lies in areas like sexuality, anxiety, depression, life transitions, faith and spirituality, relationships, and issues specific to men.
​
Jeff will be speaking on Friday March 7 at the Annual Utah Psychedelic Conference and facilitating a discussion about the power of psychedelics in addressing sexual dysfunction and intimacy on Saturday March 8.


Kate Kincaid LPC CMHC
Kate Kincaid, LPC, CMHC is a licensed psychotherapist and executive business coach with group private practices in Arizona and Utah. She specializes in working with LGBTQIA2S+ clients, people in ethically non-monogamous relationships, entrepreneurs and people seeking psychedelic integration therapy.
Taking her knowledge and experience of running a successful business for over a decade, she provides executive business coaching to people looking to scale and improve their businesses.
She is certified in EMDR, trained in MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy and utilizes Ketamine Assisted Therapy in her practice. She also helps train other clinicians in these modalities too. She is passionate about perinatal mental health and is an advocate for innovative psychiatric treatments for PMDD and postpartum depression.
Her interest in doing relationship therapy started when she studied at the Kinsey Institute- a renowned school for the study of sexuality and gender but flourished when she began actively organizing in her local queer and nonmonogamous communities. She is the co-creator of Southwest Love Fest, a conference on ethical non-monogamy, relationships, identity and community.
She is also the author of “Polyamory Journal: A Relationship Book” and a contributing author to “Queering Psychedelics”.

Kate will be speaking at Utah's Annual Psychedelic conference on Friday March 7 and facilitating a discussion on Saturday March 8.
Dr. Jude Higgins
Jude’s career integrates clinical psychedelic chaplaincy, end-of-life doula work, education, and anthropology, with a focus on spirituality, cultural practices, and the “shadow” aspects of culture, including grief and end-of-life care.
​
She has served as a clinical chaplain in hospice care and at Primary Children’s Hospital.
​
Currently, she works at The Lotus Center for Health & Wellness as a psychedelic chaplain, providing compassionate, integrative care. Her work focus is on multi-dimensional integration of psychedelic experiences. She also leads psychedelic drum journeys (AKA psychedelic sonic induction), and provides training for End-of-Life Doulas.
​
With a PhD in education focusing on trauma-informed practices, she explores cultural rituals around grief and bereavement and consult on compassionate end-of-life care. Her research includes studying psychedelics’ potential to support families during transitions, honoring both individual and cultural narratives of death, dying, and healing.

Dr Jude will be speaking on March 7 and facilitating an experience on March 8, 2025.


Tyson Kunz
Tyson is a nurturing and dedicated student and teacher committed to showing up in the world as a safe, sacred and divine masculine strength.
He has lived experience in the undercurrents of polygamy, violence, addiction, and incarceration. This has inspired him to become a sacred space-holder embodying the elements of nature in all of his practices and teachings.
He is able to hold non-judgemental space for accountability and vulnerability to help others powerfully in their journey of transformation.
He offers medicine of embodiment as a seasoned yogi and specializes in breakin'. He is a shining example of what it means to break through yourself life in a powerful meaningful way. He believes strongly in agreements and boundaries and is unwavering in his commitment to bettering himself and teaching from a place of gentle humility.
He is a carrier of sacred song and believes in and embodies the power of the sacred circle specializing in fire ceremony.
He is as wild & gentle as he is sacred.

Discussion & Experience Facilitators

Matthew Snyder
Matthew Snyder, Holistic Health Practitioner, Alchemist, researcher, and creator of "Rolling Buddy" developed a supplement to take before, during and after MDMA sessions to help prevent brain, heart, liver and nerve damage, and to increase chemical safety.
​
By mitigating the biological risks and decreasing "comedown" impact, Matthew has created a therapeutic tool that could change the future of MDMA assisted therapy.
​

Lulu McPharlin
Lulu McPharlin is a former mental health counselor with specialized training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy who now works as an interdisciplinary art experience designer with special interests in neuroaesthetics and personal empowerment.
Her work focuses on connecting people to their inner selves, nature, and community through sensory-rich art experiences that often include surreal visual art. Currently she is working with a team to create a card deck designed to assist people in integrating their psychedelic experiences.

Lulu will be guiding a reflective experience on Friday, March 7th at the Psychedelic Conference.


Aubree Payne LCSW
Aubree completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Utah State University and earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah in 2018. Since The Lotus Center’s opening in 2016, Aubree has been a dedicated member of the team.
​
As the lead therapist for the Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) program at The Lotus Center, Aubree is passionate about guiding clients through transformative experiences. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and specializes in helping individuals process and heal from trauma, using both traditional and innovative approaches like KAP to support clients in overcoming stuck points and achieving meaningful growth.
​
In her free time, Aubree enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading, and practicing mindfulness. She also finds joy in working with plants and believes that nature and plant therapy are essential to healing.
​
Aubree will be co-facilitating a drum experience with Dr. Jude Higgins on Saturday March 8 at Utah's Annual Psychedelic Conference.
Jhill Saraphina
Jhill Seraphina is a licensed massage therapist, reiki master, shaman and certified sound healer. She is passionate about all three pillars of healing: mind, body, and spirit. Whether she’s providing individualized care in her office or doing sound baths at festivals, retreats and conferences, Jhill makes everyone feel brighter, lighter, and happier!

Jhill will be facilitating a sound bath experience on Saturday March 8 at 10 am.
Breakout Description: I start with an introduction about why/how sound baths are so healing and a little guided meditation to get grounded, relaxed, and open the heart space. Then I do crystal bowls, metal bowls, buffalo drum, ocean drum, and koshi chimes in that specific order in order to break up, release, and cleanse out anything that is no longer serving us. I end with a chakra tune-up to send light and love to our body, mind, and soul.

Holly Basset
I am the proud mother of 2 amazing children who are both grown and married. I have been married to my husband Kyle, for 32 years. I love to travel, paddleboard, plan events, entertain, DIY projects and enjoy yoga and meditation.
My passion is helping people heal from past trauma. I was raised in an LDS family with 3 siblings. In my 20’s I joined a church that ended up being a dooms-day cult. I left this cult about 3 years ago.
​
Through working on my own religious & sexual abuse trauma I learned to tap into trapped emotions in the body and release them. I now help others do the same.
​
Holly will be co-facilitating breathwork on Saturday March 8.

Their compassionate approach is complemented by strong intuition, allowing them to connect with clients on a profound level. Each facilitator brings unique insights and expertise, creating a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth and emotional release. Together, they empower individuals to embrace their authentic selves and unlock their full potential through mindful breathwork.
